I just wanted to thank each and every one of you who takes time to read my blog and watch my videos. I know this is a day late but I wanted to try and post anyways.
I know I have only been posting once a week but this time of the semester has been insane and I have been studying a lot to raise my grades as much as I can. I have also been starting to organize myself for STEP 1 study prep and that has been a little overwhelming. I have also over the past month and a half been working on some personal issues with anxiety and mood in addition to horrible Aunt Flo’s which have been very incapacitating.
My birthday is coming up and although I have a ton to study I am looking forward to celebrating even if for an hour maybe I will finally bake something or have hubby cook something cool so I can blog about it! I have really been slacking in home chores, cooking, and even baking. I haven’t found the time or energy. Sighhhhhh
Now let us get onto the good stuff. Like with most of the products I had hauled in February, I was completely obsessing over the new Milani foundation and kept stalking my local CVS until I found it. I was Kind of skeptical because right after I bought it I saw a video by Amy Macedo and it looked so yellow on her I started to freak out.
Nevertheless, I wanted to try it out.
One day, I got home and I was debating whether taking a break before sitting down to study or take a nap. Well I went with the former and took a filming break to try out some new products. I tried this foundation and I was surprised.
The consistency is very thick. When it starts to apply, it comes off on the side of yellow but it oxidizes pretty fast, and at least for me ended up matching perfectly. It blends like a dream and it can easily be built up. They don’t have such a wide range of colors, so some people could struggle to find a good match but in these times I am sure you could easily customize your color.
In my first impression video (will be up Tuesday) I say that it covers less than the NAKED Skin but this ended up not being true in the end. It depends of HOW you apply it. At first I used it with the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush and it gives a very natural weightless coverage. On another occasion I tried it with the Wet n Wild Flat Top Brush and whoa it made a difference. With this flat top brush, you get a denser medium to full coverage. I have yet to try it with the beauty sponge from real techniques.
For me this foundation is really long lasting, it does not become patchy, blotchy, or creasy during the day and I don’t know if it is just me but it does not clog my pores, and reduces them. They become practically invisible with this foundation. I tried it with and without primer and the effect was THE SAME. This is BONUS points in my book.
I love the feel of this foundation as it is not heavy even when built up to more coverage. Beware, for some people it might feel a little too tacky on the skin before you set it.
Some other comments on this, it comes in a glass bottle with a pump and it is so sleek and pretty that it does look like a high end product. This foundation is SUPER affordable, it cost me $10 and there was a BOGO event so the Purple Basics palette was $5.
So recapping: I LOVE the new Milani 2 in 1 conceal and perfect foundation. If you like the qualities I described above in a foundation I am sure you will love this, and thus I recommend it 100%.
Have YOU tried this foundation? What did you think about it? Let me know in the comments below.
Thanks for reading! <3

Wow this foundation looks so natural on you x
Thank you! I was surprised too because it looks so dark when you pump it and first apply it. But I love the final result
Looks amazing on your skin! Ive never tried milani products before x
I had nver tried milani until about a month and a half ago. They have great products all around!
Ahh I’ve been dying to try this but I literally just repurchased my Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation and trying not to buy an excessive amount of makeup. Stop tempting me!
I feel the same way, but I spent way to much money in the past months and I put myself on a no-buy until July. But if you get the chance, I really like it a lot. 🙂
I’ll check it out once I finish another product! 🙂
