It’s that time of year again! The time where we need to start brainstorming on what Christmas Gifts to get loved ones this year. There are so many gift-guides out there it can be overwhelming. So many people struggle to find their friends, family, and significant other good Christmas gifts. I get it, it’s hard to buy for others. In reality, it is all about knowing the person who you are gifting to and trying to find something that they will like and enjoy. For this reason, I have put together this very simple gift-guide with various alternatives for him and for her. I usually try to do my shopping early, but with being away from home and traveling makes shopping hard. So this is a list of perfect last minute gifts for anyone in the family.
For the beauty lover:
I have found that Sephora is a wonderland for any lover of makeup and skincare. If you have a person in your life who is truly passionate about these things, I am sure they will appreciate a thoughtful gift. A good idea is finding new products for them to try, or even some favorites to have spares of. Sephora puts together gift sets that I honestly have come to love. They have different options and even different price ranges so that you can find something for everyone.
Some of the best gift sets, are the ones that include a full size beauty blender (Retail price $20 just for 1 sponge). These sets are usually $30-50 which is an amazing steal. Tatcha, Origins, and Drunk Elephant skin care lines are truly amazing (but super expensive). Their gift sets give an opportunity to try new products out before breaking the bank for a full size. Fragrances and even specific products, like eyeshadow palettes, or face palettes are another great option. And finally brush sets are a must for any makeup lover, and honestly, you can never have enough brushes in your collection!
For the Fashion Lover:
There’s a wide variety cute, holiday appropriate dresses, sweaters if you are from colder areas, pajama sets, and robes. Gift cards are also appropriate and a great choice. If you really know the person you are shopping for, these are all great alternatives. Another great choice, is shoes. Especially if you are looking for something more personal and have a good idea of their likes. A couple of years back I fell in love with a pair of booties and the husband, then boyfriend, got them for me. I still own those boots and I love them to death. Another great choice, and beautiful at that is a pair of luxury on a budget heels by Betsey Johnson, or if you can afford it the classic Louboutins. Finally, scarves are cozy, affordable, and classic and yet can completely transform any fashion lover’s look in seconds.
For the Accessory Lover:
There are people who love clothes and shoes. Then there are those of us who love handbags, and accessories. There is an immense variety of handbags for those who love (and can afford) luxury, and those who can live with dupes that are a small fraction of the price of the luxury one. Express and Rebecca Minkoff are especially killing it in the Dupe industry right now. Alex and Ani are also killing it on the market of affordable luxury with their simple yet elegant bangle collection and jewelry. Most recently they feature Harry Potter and Wonder Woman. Also Ray-Ban and Tory Burch always have some pretty sweet sunglasses that you can easily find on sale or with good discounts online. Finally SLG’s (small leather goods) like card holders are great for anyone who has a busy lifestyle, or loves small purses. For the technology lover:
Who doesn’t love a brand new set of speakers, headphones, or even a cool new phone case? In today’s time, these are great gifts. Like all the other categories you can find something for everyone for a good price or something very expensive. I love Kate Spade accessories. The best part is that you can even find them at Marshalls, TJ Maxx and Amazon for killer prices. Last year I got my sister in law a Kate Spade battery pack at TJ Maxx and she loved it! Headphones, especially wireless bluetooth ones, are becoming more and more popular. Especially since the iPhone changed their phones and no longer have an AUX port for headphones. Finally battery packs and portable speakers are also a good gift that you can find good inexpensive varieties of and make for a fun great gift.
Other Gift Ideas:
There are many other gifts out there that can be really useful and fun and they are easy to find. Jewelry dishes, candles, travel sets, and even grooming kits are really good gift alternatives. The Art of Shaving is a company dedicated to skin care in terms of shaving and they have products for men and women and they focus on natural ingredients and sensitive skin. Bath and Body Works, Jo Malone and Velusca have amazing candle selections that are a perfect house warming gift during the holidays. The Fujifilm Polaroid camera is another great gift for those photography lovers out there and you can find them almost anywhere at a variety of price ranges. I also found some nice jewelry dishes, and other fun house gifts.
Well there you have it, my last minute gift-guide for anyone in the family. I have options for everyone in the family as well as a broad range of prices. Let me know what your favorite last minute gifts are, and don’t forget to use EBates to get Cash Back on all your online holiday shopping, they have lots of double cash back events going on!

the instax mini is on my list of things I want. It just seems like it’d be so much fun to print pics on the spot like that! Great ideas in this post 🙂
Thank you!! And I know, I remember my cousin had one for our wedding and she had some pretty nice pics that day!
Love these gift ideas! I included the same Fujifilm camera on my gift guide too 😉
That camera seems like so much fun especially for photography aficionados and the mint color is perfection!
